Lindsay has taken part in over 30 expeditions to Nepal,India,Peru,the Karakorum and the Pamirs with a preference for cold,solitary winter trips across seemingly endless moraines. He has previously worked as a local agent and trek leader in Nepal. An active trekker and sub-7000m mountaineer, Lindsay has a long list of summit successes including winter first ascents in Nepal.

He descibes himself as having the rock climbing ability of a stunned seal pup and of being an inveterately lazy mountain biker. Interests include winding people up, visits to the dark side and the collected writings of Craig and Charles Reid.
