Luci lights up Puerto Rico
MANY weeks on from Hurricane Maria, once the TV cameras and world's media moved on, the people of Puerto Rico are still struggling to come to terms with the effects of this devastating storm.
Luci Lights and parent company Mpwerd have been sending their inflatable lights to Puerto Rico ever since the hurricane struck, as part of the 40,000 units they've shipped to crisis areas worldwide in the last few months of 2017.
Still without access to electricity in their Puerto Rican home, our photo shows Yeriel, Yarilis and Anthony playing board games into the night - thanks to Luci. When school starts again, they'll be able to use their Luci lights to do their homework.
